Training groups are divided by age. Children in grades 1 - 4 practice only in winter, or from January 1st every year if snow permits. Sometimes practice starts earlier if we are lucky enough to get snow before Christmas.
In the fall of 2024, you will be offered fall practices where children in grades 2-4 are invited to come and practice twice a week. Everyone trains together, i.e. alpine kids, hiking kids and board kids under the direction of Jóna Lind Kristjánsdóttir.
1.-4. class practices twice a week. At the beginning of winter, a beginner's course is held, where complete beginners receive basic training in standing the slope and can go to the lift themselves. If children are still insecure and cannot be alone in a lift when regular training begins, a parent or guardian must accompany children to training to begin with.
The children are then divided into two groups and it is assumed that 1st and 2nd grade train together and 3rd and 4th grade, but there can also be mixing between groups, depending on the ability of each one.
